A tragic incident occurred at approximately 5:00 PM in Hugawng Ward of Tanai Town, Kachin State, resulting in the unfortunate death of a child.
Two children were riding a bicycle and fell near a sandstone pile close to the Hugawng Ward Administration Office. Regrettably, a truck approaching from the east struck the child seated in the back, causing fatal head injuries.
The deceased child has been identified as a 6-year-old named Naw Naw Htoi, while the other child involved sustained minor injuries. The Tanai Police Station is currently conducting an investigation into the incident, focusing on the driver of the truck.
