Reports indicate that the confrontations between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and the SAC forces persist with great intensity in Momauk Town, Kachin State. Civilian casualties have occurred as a result of the SAC's airstrikes and heavy artillery bombardments.

Additionally, an aircraft was bombed in a residential area near Momauk Town, causing an explosion in a house close to Myo Thit general hospital around 8:00 AM on May 14th. Tragically, the blast led to the immediate death of the homeowner's husband, severe facial injuries to his wife, and serious leg injuries to their grandmother.

The fierce counter-offensive skirmishes, initiated by the SAC's No. 437 Infantry Battalion against the joint KIA forces since May 7th in Myo Thit Ward, Momauk Town, Bhamo Township, continue unabated. Numerous residences have suffered damage due to the relentless barrage of artillery and airstrikes by the SAC.

Furthermore, the KIA joint forces launched an attack on the Mansi-based police station around 7:00 AM on May 13th, finally gaining control by approximately 3:00 PM. Despite this victory, SAC's No. 601 and No. 319 infantry battalions maintain a presence in Mansi Town. Consequently, residents remain evacuated for their safety, given the substantial SAC military encampment in the area, which poses a significant risk of escalating hostilities.
