In recent days, the SAC forces have been engaged in extensive military operations in regions including Tang Hpre, Sumprabum Road, Lamung Zup, Wai Shi, and the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy River above Myitkyina in Kachin State. Local residents report that there have been frequent instances of gunfire involving heavy weaponry and drones.

A local resident stated, "Nearly every night recently, I am awakened by the sound of heavy artillery being discharged in Myitsone. Just last night, I witnessed the launch of missiles. The SAc has increased its presence and is actively engaged in operations within the Myitsone region."

Local inhabitants report that the majority of the military personnel assigned by the SAC are traversing the wooded valley across the Lamung Zup River, whereas a contingent remains stationed at the entrance of Lamung Zup village, where they are interrogating individuals passing by and collecting money.

Numerous military reinforcements are present, with thousands stationed on the Myitsone side. Additionally, they continue to reside in the jungle, as noted by another local.

At present, there is no direct confrontation between the KIA joint forces and the SAC forces; however, the SAC is consistently deploying drones, artillery, surface-to-air missiles, and aerial bombs, while also bolstering its military capabilities compared to previous levels.

In the previous week, the SAC conducted artillery fire, resulting in an explosion within the park of Aung Min Thar Yup Zau Hkawng, alongside more than three airstrikes in Sadung Village and three rounds of shelling in Wai Shi Village. Local residents have expressed significant concern regarding the ongoing shelling.
