Local residents report that approximately 50 personnel from the SAC’s Infantry Battalion (381, 382) have been engaged in military operations at the confluence of the Nammati and Mogaung creeks in Kachin State since yesterday morning.
During military operations, it has been reported that the SAC forces are instructing individuals passing by to return their rice and paddy rather than transporting it to the fields. They are also inquiring about the distance to the KIA military camp and the number of soldiers present.
Fierce confrontations between the KIA and the SAC persist in the Bhamo and Inndaw regions. The SAC is actively employing aircraft and drones to target areas experiencing significant conflict, while vigorously defending its positions to avert the loss of their bases.
The conflict in Inndaw town has persisted since January 27, with two military outposts belonging to the SAC being seized yesterday.
