Myitkyina to Mandalay union road, which was temporarily closed for exactly one week, has been allowed to pass through again today, November 22.

A soldier on duty said this about the opening of the gate.

"The gate is only allowed to travel from 6:00 am to 6:00pm. We cannot say exactly how many days it will be open. It may be closed again depending on the situation" he said.
