The conflict in Bhamo involving the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and its allied forces, which commenced in December, continues to persist. While the KIA has successfully taken control of the majority of the military camps belonging to the State Administration Council (SAC), the pace of the offensive has diminished. Nevertheless, the SAC continues to execute significant assaults utilizing artillery, drones, and airstrikes. Additionally, many individuals who escaped during the hostilities have yet to establish communication with their families.
