It is stated that the military situation between the Kachin Independent Army (KIA) and the SAC forces is still tense and the armed-clashes between the two forces are escalating in Seng Tawng Village, Hpakant region. In addition, there were also civilian deceases which killed by the heavy artillery shells’ explosion.
It is known that the SAC forces and the KIA forces clashed while approximately 60 of the SAC forces were marching in column to Yu Ma village on September 9th. Moreover, the clash is still escalating due to the SAC’s column which is operating again to the clash area until September 10th.
Additionally, on September 7th the SAC forces offensively attacked at Lucky Man Hotel which is situated in Seng Tawng village, under the thought that the KIA and PDF joint forces were at the hotel and the armed-conflict between the two forces occurred.
Furthermore, there were local residents evacuating to safety due to the armed-clashes between the KIA joint forces and the SAC forces which took place at Yu Ma village near Seng Tawng village on September 4th.
According to the local residents, it has already been a week since the SAC forces marching in columns to Seng Tawng village and the clashes are occurring in the area. As consequences, some residentials were destroyed by the heavy artillery shells and there are also civilians who injured and killed by the small and heavy weapons which fired by the two armed-forces during the clashes.
It is also said that the pedestrians are interrogating and threatening by the SAC forces in the areas. Besides, the local residents from Seng Tawng village are evacuating to safety due to the intensified armed-clashes between the two forces which is going on until September 10th.
