The Local Residents Are Urging The Appropriate Authorities To Remove The Remnants Of Weapons And Landmines That Were Left Behind Following The Skirmish At Sumpra Bum

Residents have expressed their desire for the government to expedite the clearance of the area, citing the presence of weapon fragments and landmines resulting from the skirmishes in the Sumpra Bum region.


The residents have consistently urged the appropriate government authorities in the Sumpra Bum area to expedite land clearing activities; however, the government has not yet been able to fulfill this request.


“The heavy artillery that was discharged during the skirmish was positioned in the ground and has remained there. The majority of these weapons are located within the city of Sumpra Bum. We have repeatedly urged the government to provide clarification on this matter, but they have yet to take action. It is imperative that this issue be addressed promptly,” stated a local resident.


It has been nearly six months since the KIA took control of the town of Sumpra Bum; however, the local inhabitants must navigate the area with caution due to the incomplete clearance operations.


Residents of Sumpra Bum, currently under the governance of the KIO administration, are urging the government to expedite the removal of landmines and remnants of weaponry that were left behind following the armed conflicts.


The present military situation appears stable following the KIA's control of the Sumpra Bum region; however, the local population remains apprehensive about the possibility of bombardment by the SAC.
