The KIA Has Successfully Taken Control Of The Last Remaining Kanpaik Ti Town Located Along The Chinese Border And Is Currently In The Process Of Securing The Region

On November 20, at approximately 5:00 PM, it was reported that KIA joint forces launched an assault and successfully seized control of the last remaining border trade town of Kanpaik Ti, located in the Kachin Special Region (1). Efforts are currently underway to clear the area.


The KIA joint forces and the SAC joint forces have been engaged in conflict since 9:30 AM on November 20th. Furthermore, the confrontation between the two military factions has escalated, culminating in the KIA joint forces successfully capturing the town of Kanpaik Ti at 5:00 PM.


The town of Kampaik Ti serves as a border guard region within the U Zahkung Ting Ying control area. Additionally, it functions as the primary trading hub along the border of Kachin State and China.


The SAC in the Momauk region of the Bhamo district is reportedly operating either on foot or with a significant deployment of military personnel. Despite the SAC's daily aerial patrols, it has been reported that the KIA continues to carry out their offensive operations with considerable intensity.
