The KIA and its allied forces have successfully liberated all seized SAC camps in Mansi, hoisted the KIA flag, and continue to participate in the conflict to seize Bhamo.

“Following its capture by the KIA joint forces on January 8th, the initial task will be to conduct cleaning and clearing operations in the area. Given the proximity of Mansi and Bhamo, it is imperative that they persist in their efforts to combat the situation. After securing Mansi, it is likely that the forces will advance towards Bhamo, and subsequently, they may proceed to Momauk," stated a local village elder from Mansi.

Following the capture of Mansi on January 8th, the 47th Infantry Battalion finds itself under tight encirclement and siege, alongside the remaining SAC bases in the Bhamo region. Clashes persist in the vicinity of Bhamo town, while the SAC is actively carrying out ongoing airstrikes.

A village elder from Mansi remarked, “The noise today was more intense than in previous days. Each time it occurred, the ground trembled. It is likely that large artillery shells were used.”

The No (21) Military Operation Command of the SAC, based in Bhamo, is reportedly engaging in intense resistance utilizing heavy weaponry.

The remaining SAC camps located in Bhamo include the 21st Military Operation Command and the 47th Infantry Battalions, in addition to various infantry, artillery, tank, communications, medical, engineering battalions, and logistics corps.

The offensive that commenced on December 4th, 2024, resulted in the capture of the headquarters of the 319th Infantry Regiment, 601st Infantry Regiment, and the 352nd Artillery Battalion in Mansi Township in the adjacent area yesterday.
