Local residents report that it has been approximately one week since the KIA joint forces took control of the trade town of Kanpaik Ti; however, those who evacuated for their safety have yet to return to their homes.

Currently, the KIO administration is functioning, and electricity has been restored in the Kanpaik Ti region. Nevertheless, due to the sporadic aerial bombardments conducted by the SAC in territories under KIA control, local residents have expressed their reluctance to return to their homes.

On November 26th, the SAC launched a drone strike on the village of WaingMaw-Washawng, despite the absence of any ongoing conflict in the area. Fortunately, the residents of Washawng village had already relocated to safety, resulting in no injuries among the local population.

In recent days, the SAC has been steadily augmenting its military presence and executing operations in the WaingMaw region. Furthermore, there has been significant artillery fire in the vicinity of WaingMaw Town, despite the absence of any armed confrontations.
