As reported by local news sources, the SAC shelled aerial bombs more than 3 times in Momauk area approximately at 3:00 AM on September 17th. At 9 o’clock in the same day, the 5 combatant ships moving from Shwegu to Bhamo were ambushed by the KIA joint forces at the upper part of Shwegu. In addition, 2 of the combatant ships were hit by the weapons which fired by the KIA joint forces, therefore, all of the SAC forces retreated to Shwegu with 5 of their combatant ships.

According to the local sources, the SAC forces provided aerial security along the river where the aforementioned combatant ships were marching. Moreover, they also fired heavy artillery indiscriminately to the areas which they thought suspecting.

After 3 days of the completely capturing of the SAC’s 437th Infantry Battalion by the KIA joint forces on August 19th, the SAC forces launched counterattacks with numerous numbers of forces. Since then, the skirmishes in the areas are tensed day by day.

In addition, the KIA joint forces were able to rescue the employees who were trapped in the Lucky Men Hotel in Hpakant- Seng Tawng village yesterday. It is also known that the KIA joint forces and the SAC forces clashed in the Yuma village approximately at 5:30 PM in the evening, and there were heavy artilleries fired by the SAC’s Hpakant Based Command Hill towards Seng Tawng village.

As stated by the local resources, nearly 400 residentials in Seng Tawng village have been destroyed by the SAC’s airstrikes and arson.
