Local news reports indicate that despite the SAC deploying a significant force and launching a vigorous attack near Aung Myay (7) mile village in the Bhamo-Momauk region in October, there have been no reported skirmishes since the end of that month up to the present day.

Recent reports indicate that the SAC forces have conducted drone bombardments targeting an area within seven miles of Aung Myay village in the past few days; however, there have been no assaults carried out by infantry units.

In October of the previous year, the SAC forces executed a significant offensive involving aerial bombardments, drone strikes, and infantry patrols supported by four tanks.

The SAC deployed armored vehicles and initiated a significant offensive to reclaim Momauk Town in Kachin State, which had been captured by the joint forces of the KIA.

The KIA joint forces launched an offensive and successfully seized the final remnants of SAC’s No (437) Infantry Battalion on August 19th. Furthermore, it has now been two months since the KIA has maintained control over the entire town of Momauk.
