Reports indicate that KIA joint forces have attacked and taken control of several SAC military bases in the Chipwi area, located in the KIA No. (7) Brigade region.
On September 29, at approximately 5:00 AM, the KIA joint forces launched an offensive targeting SAC military camps in the Kachin Special Region (1), specifically in the Chipwi and Sawlaw areas. As a result, several key locations, including the Chipwi strategic military camp, the Chipwi police station, the Sawlaw strategic military camp, and joint checkpoints near the four-mile mark, were captured.
According to local residents, many people from Chipwi began evacuating on September 29. Those attempting to flee toward Waing Maw were blocked by SAC forces at the Sadung checkpoint, leading to difficulties in their escape.
The KIA joint forces executed a coordinated attack on SAC military installations in the Chipwi area, successfully occupying several camps. Local news sources report that the KIA forces are continuing their advance to capture the remaining SAC military camps, with rising tensions between the two armed groups in the region.
