Reports indicate that several homes were damaged due to an airstrike by the military council army at around 10:00 pm yesterday in Han Htet village, Mansi Township, despite no ongoing fighting.
The airstrike by the military council damaged homes west of the rural dispensary in Han Htet village. Fighter jets from the Mandalay Tatar Oo side carried out the bombing. Fortunately, no casualties were reported by residents.
On June 11, numerous houses were damaged by heavy weapon explosions in Bhamo town and Mansi Township, resulting in at least nine injuries among local residents. That day, airstrikes also caused two houses to be destroyed by fire.
Han Htet village was previously attacked and occupied by Kachin Independence Army (KIA) joint forces on April 5. On the same day, some houses near the monastery were also damaged by an airstrike.
