The armed conflict between SAC forces and KIA's No. (3) Brigade continues to escalate in the Momauk area.

On September 23, KIA joint forces clashed again with an SAC column advancing into the Momauk region. SAC forces shelled the area more than seven times using aircraft, launching bombs from Bhamo to the vicinity of 7 Mile village, and deploying drone bombs and tanks. According to local sources, the SAC infantry battalion launched a full-force attack, leading to intense skirmishes.

The fighting has continued fiercely, with SAC forces defending the area with airstrikes. Some residents report that more than three aircraft have been used in the ongoing attacks.

On September 17, KIA forces successfully intercepted SAC combat ships en route from Shwegu to Bhamo, leaving only one ship to reach Bhamo due to KIA's blockade.

After KIA joint forces captured SAC's No. (437) Infantry Battalion camp in Momauk, SAC forces in Bhamo increased their military presence between Bhamo and Momauk, further intensifying daily clashes.

The No. (437) Infantry Battalion camp is a crucial military base for controlling the Momauk-Bhamo area. As a result, SAC forces have been launching aggressive offensives to recapture the base, and the conflict remains highly tense.
