It has been reported that several militiamen who escaped during the KIA offensive at the militia military camp in Lang Sel village have surrendered to the KIA joint forces.

The Kagabu Peoples Force (KPF) has reported that over 10 militiamen have surrendered, with additional individuals expressing interest in joining and surrendering. Presently, the KIA joint forces are actively engaged in clearing the area in Lancel village, which has been under occupation.

The KIA joint forces have taken control of numerous regions along the Chinese border, and the KIO administration has commenced its operations in these territories. On November 4th, approximately 100 militiamen stationed near Kan Hpant village in Chiphwi Township relinquished their weapons to the KIA joint forces. Consequently, it has been established that Kan Hpant village was seized without any armed conflict.

On October 25th, coinciding with the anniversary of the KIO, KIO Chairman General N Ban La issued a warning to the militia and border guards, urging them to surrender and collaborate with the KIA. Following this announcement, there has been an increase in the number of militiamen and border guards who have chosen to surrender to the KIA joint forces.

Since the final week of September, KIA joint forces have initiated their offensive operations along the Chinese border, encompassing the Kachin Special Region (1), and have successfully seized numerous territories. Currently, it is reported that only Kanpaik Ti Town, a trading city on the Chinese border, remains to be captured.
