An eyewitness account reveals that a sandstone truck and a motorbike collided on the road leading to Maw Han Village, near the border of Kachin State and Sagaing Division, at approximately 5:00 PM on April 27th. Tragically, the collision resulted in the immediate deaths of a man riding the motorbike and a woman seated behind him.
According to the witness, "the truck emerged from an alley and collided with the motorbike. Both vehicles were traveling at high speeds. The male motorcyclist and the female pillion rider lost their lives instantly. The driver of the truck abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene," recounted a woman who witnessed the accident.
The driver of the sandstone truck reportedly abandoned the vehicle and absconded, while the two deceased individuals were identified as residents of Maw Han Village.
The vehicle involved in the collision was identified as a sandstone truck bearing the registration number MDY 5A-6189. However, the identity of the driver remains unknown at this time.
