The General Administrator informed the hotel proprietors and the business individuals who rented the hall that any non-governmental organizations (NGOs, INGOs, CSOs) wishing to conduct meetings and training sessions in Monhyin Town are required to secure authorization from the General Administration Office. Such meetings and training sessions may only proceed upon receipt of this permission.

A hotel owner stated that the General Administrator convened a meeting with all hotel proprietors. Furthermore, he emphasized that any gatherings or training sessions held in hotels require prior approval from the General Administration office. It was also noted that non-governmental organizations must provide information regarding their name, a brief history of the organization, and details about the projects they are currently undertaking.

Following the meeting convened by the general administration office, the rental rates for the hotel and hall in Mohnyin City have risen significantly. Reports indicate that the new prices range from 100,000 to 300,000, with all relevant information provided during the rental process. Consequently, organizations are now required to operate under stricter guidelines, limiting their flexibility.

On July 25th, the SAC issued notifications to censor and regulate non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) at government branch offices located in Myitkyina.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) functioning in diverse environments are entities capable of challenging the operations of relevant government organization, leading to directives for their censorship.

Nevertheless, despite the absence of enforcement in Myitkyina Town, stringent measures have been implemented in Mohnyin Town, permitting gatherings only when the organization's information is completely revealed, as reported by local residents.
