The Kachin Independence Army (KIA) has launched an offensive, successfully seizing control of all three Border Guard Battalions, namely No. 1001, 1002, and 1003, located in Kachin Special Region (1). Furthermore, local news reports indicate that the only remaining area under control is the Myanmar-China border town of Kanpaik Ti.

On October 31st, the KIA joint forces launched an assault and successfully seized control of the final Kachin Special Region (1) Border Guard No. 101st Battalion, which was located in Phi Maw town.

Following the seizure of the military camp operated by the SAC (298) on Phi Maw Road, the KIA proceeded to assault and take control of the entire town of Phi Maw on the evening of November 2nd.

Local residents report that the Chinese authorities are exerting pressure on the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) to refrain from launching attacks on the Burmese-Chinese border town of Kanpaik Ti.

The SAC joint forces deployed in the city of Kanpaik Ti have once again engaged in military raids targeting the area occupied by the KIA. Additionally, it has been reported that militias within Kanpaik Ti are actively recruiting new personnel.
