Intense Clashes Continue Between KIA-Led Forces and Junta Troops Near Lawa Village

 KIA's 2nd Brigade, Battalion 20, engaged in intense clashes with regime-aligned militia forces near Kum Sai Yan village close to Lawa village on April 13 morning along Tanai-Ledo Road. The fighting erupted as junta-backed forces were conducting military operations in the area, while KIA coalition units defended their positions. Since early April, junta forces have been active along Tanai-Ledo Road and stationed near Lawa village, frequently firing heavy weapons. They also occupied Wara Zup village from April 4, carrying out military activities and reportedly burning houses.
