The AAPP reported on December 25 that the SAC and its associated groups were responsible for the deaths of 308 civilians nationwide during the three-month period from October to December, with 163 of those fatalities resulting from airstrikes.
The SAC is experiencing significant territorial losses in the ongoing civil war within the country. Consequently, there has been a daily escalation in their airstrikes, resulting in a rise in civilian casualties.
Military tensions are escalating on a daily basis in the Bhamo region of Kachin State. The air and artillery strikes conducted by the SAC have led to civilian casualties and the destruction of numerous homes in Bhamo town.
Military analysts are expressing concerns regarding the SAC's assertive efforts to reclaim lost territory, as well as its warning of potential destruction should these efforts prove unsuccessful.
The anti-coup armed forces are reportedly urging residents in regions with a significant presence of anti-coup forces to construct bomb shelters. Additionally, they are conducting awareness-raising initiatives focused on air safety.
