The SAC forces have been bombarding not only the locations of ongoing skirmishes but also civilian regions devoid of conflict, resulting in the deaths of 61 women and injuries to 64 others in November, as reported by the Burma Women's Union (BWU).
The fatalities comprised 37 women who lost their lives due to aerial bombardments, 16 as a result of artillery shelling, and 8 from landmines and arson. The highest number of casualties occurred in Shan State, Rakhine State, Mandalay, and Sagaing Regions.
The SAC forces are conducting indiscriminate attacks, leading to the loss of innocent civilian lives. In October of the previous year, the BWU documented that 71 women were killed and 44 sustained injuries due to assaults by the SAC and its associated groups, which included airstrikes and artillery bombardments.
