A fire incident was reported to have occurred on March 21st at approximately 12:00 PM in Lone Sut Ward, Putao Town. The incident involved two residential structures located adjacent to the ZayYarMin Gas Station.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. However, local residents suggested that the fire may have originated from a kitchen appliance cooking by woods as it happened during a power outage of the Electric Power Corporation (EPC).
Firefighting units responded promptly and managed to extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring properties, including the ZayYarMin Gas Station. Regrettably, the two affected houses were severely damaged.
