A heavy artillery shell explosion at approximately 8:00 PM on June 10th in Hkat Cho village, Waingmaw Township, Kachin State, resulted in one civilian death and six injuries.
The deceased, a 26-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital after being hit by the shell.

The clashes between the SAC forces, emerging from villages such as Naung Si Paw and Hkat Cho, and the joint forces of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA/KPDF) led to SAC firing heavy artillery in the areas of conflict starting the morning of June 10.
Additionally, despite the lack of armed clashes, the Hka Nan Baptist Church in Lamyang Village was bombed by an SAC drone at approximately 3:30 PM on June 10, completely destroying the church.
Military tensions between the KIA/KPDF joint forces and the SAC forces continue to escalate in Waingmaw, Momauk, and Mansi townships in Kachin State.
