Civilians Have Lost Their Lives Due To Airstrikes Conducted By The SAC In Daw Hpung Yang

Civilians sustained injuries and fatalities due to an aerial bomb released by the SAC in the town of Daw Hpung Yang, located in Momauk Township.
At approximately 1:25 a.m. on February 19, aerial bombs were released by the SAC over Wa Ngang village in the Daw Hpung Yang region, resulting in the deaths of seven civilians and injuries to five others, as reported by local residents.
The deceased comprised seven individuals from the U Maung Oo family, among whom were three children aged ten. The injured individuals were identified as U Win Naing, aged 60, his spouse Daw Khin Yi, aged 68, Daw Win Kyaing, aged 53, Maung Kaung Htet Lwin, aged 10, and Daw Su Hlaing, aged 27.
The SAC forces persist in conducting indiscriminate airstrikes in regions devoid of armed confrontations, leading to a significant number of civilian casualties and destruction of residential properties.
On February 18, the forces of the SAC conducted an unprovoked bombing of Wara Zup village, located on Lido Road in the Hugaung Valley region. This attack resulted in the death of one civilian and the destruction of three houses by fire.
