A robbery took place at a house in the Kanhla Yaekyi Chaung neighborhood of Nammatti City, Mogaung Township. Four armed robbers broke into the residence, each carrying a gun.

On February 28th, four men—two straight and two gay—carrying firearms broke into a house that sells round concrete blocks for wells. However, only one of the guns was real, while the others were fake, used solely to intimidate the household into handing over money.

Among the suspects, one individual, who is associated with a pharmacy in Nammatti, has been arrested and is currently being held at Nammatti Police Station. Meanwhile, the remaining three suspects are still on the loose, and police are actively searching for them.

Crime rates, including robberies, thefts, and murders, have been rising at an alarming rate in Kachin State, with at least one murder case reported per week.
