The ongoing skirmishes between SAC joint forces and KIA forces in the Hpakant–Seng Tawng area have intensified, forcing local residents to flee in search of safety and requiring significant social support.

KIA forces launched an offensive against SAC troops stationed at the Luckey Men Hotel, which continued until September 29th. In addition, KIA successfully intercepted SAC reinforcements heading to the conflict zone, with reports suggesting that the fighting was particularly intense.

For nearly a month, clashes between the two forces in the Hpakant–Seng Tawng area have been fierce, and local residents continue to evacuate due to the ongoing violence.

As evacuations continue for an extended period, displaced residents face serious challenges, including shortages of food, shelter, and medical supplies. Around 6,000 evacuees from the Seng Tawng area are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.

The military operations in the Seng Tawng region began on September 4th, escalating after the 7th, forcing about 6,000 civilians to flee for safety.
