Local residents report that the SAC's jet fighter, which departed from Tada Oo Airport in Mandalay, dropped over seven bombs on the villages of MasutYang and San Kha, located near Lone Khin village in Hpakant, at approximately 10:44 a.m. on January 13, resulting in numerous fatalities.

The bombs are said to have struck several locations, including a residence adjacent to the Sankha football field, the Sankha monastery, the home of U Kyaw Khaing in Sankha village, the residence of U Than Win, the house of U Thaw Zin, a site along the road leading to the Masut Yang dumped soil hill, and the premises of the Mya U Yin Company.

The airstrikes resulted in significant damage to residential areas, leading to the deaths of over eight civilians and causing serious injuries to twenty more. The majority of those affected were migrant workers and pedestrians.

Local elders are advising individuals against congregating, as the SAC is presently executing airstrikes in regions devoid of any conflict.
