According to Metta LayNyin Social Relief Association, the rotting body of a woman was found at approximately 2:00PM in 10 miles Village, Mohnyin Town, Kachin State.
As said by a member of Metta LayNyin Social Relief Association, “She has been missing from home for about 20 days. Her family said that they weren’t able to find her. She walks away from home frequently. Doctors examined that she has been dead for more than ten days. The body has already rotted, so they can’t tell the exact reason of her death,” he said.
The deceased woman was 57-year-old named Daw Sau Myaw, who always walked away from home. In addition, she was found 20 days later with a rotting body.
Moreover, the woman was suffering from mental illness and the cause of her death is not yet known, said a member of Metta LayNyin Social Relief Association.
As reported by local residents, a man from Aung Chan Thar Ward died of a head injury in a farm of Helone village, in Mohnyin Town.
