3 Young Girls From The JeYang IDP Camp, Located Near Laiza Town, Were Kidnapped And Subsequently Killed

Three young girls, approximately 10 years old, were reportedly abducted and violently killed in the Je Yang IDP camp located near Laiza town, within the KIO-controlled region, as stated by local residents. According to local reports, the KIO authorities have apprehended the individuals responsible for these crimes.


The individual identified as U Ung Sau Doi Aung was apprehended on February 25th, and subsequent to his interrogation, the remains of the three abducted girls were discovered.


“Following an investigation, authorities discovered two bodies in the lake yesterday evening, along with another that had been hanged from a tree this morning. The two individuals found in the lake were tied with ropes and had suffered fatal injuries from being crushed by stones. The third body, which was also restrained with ropes, exhibited multiple stab wounds and scratches inflicted by knives. Additionally, the eyes had been gouged out, and the individual had been subjected to a brutal hanging,” as reported by a refugee from Je Yang.


The remains of two of the three girls who were abducted were discovered near a lake yesterday evening, seemingly having drowned, while the body of the third girl was located hanging early this morning, February 26.


Three girls, each aged 10, were discovered with their hands and feet bound, their legs restrained, and their eyes and faces obscured by cloth. Additionally, their bodies bore multiple stab wounds and scratches inflicted by a knife, according to the aforementioned sources.


On February 22nd, a 25-year-old suspect abducted three children who were at his wife's residence. He transmitted images of the children to their parents via WeChat, using the name "Saung Oo," and requested a ransom of 300,000 Chinese yuan.


The wife of the offender is the teacher of the deceased. The offender, U Ung Sau Doi Aung, was recently released from incarceration after being granted parole for a prior offense.


The three children are identified as 10-year-old Ma Nang Zing Ji San Mai, Ma Hpauyam Sut Seng Ing, and Ma Lahtaw Roi Ji. Furthermore, the remains of these three girls will be interred today at the Jeyang IDP camp, accompanied by prayers.
